Alex Roberts

Alex Roberts has over 20 years experience teaching art professionally.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education and is working toward her Master's Degree. Alex’s approach to teaching young artists is playful and warm, valuing the process over the product.  Her strengths lie in her ability to create fun and authentic art programming that develops creative thinking skills, self-identity, and cultural awareness.  

Alex celebrates the creative spirit in each child, getting to know their learning styles, and making them feel valued.  Her goal is to provide students with the skills and environment necessary to understand the empowerment of art, as it did for her as a shy child. Dot to Dot Art Workshop was Alex’s long running dream to create an inspiring space for the community to connect and share the creative experience.
