Our Collective Journey

It began as a "what if?"—and now, the idea is coming to life.

Collecting Creatives
The vision for Cape Cod Collective started as a way to gather creatives of all kinds across Cape Cod and the Islands. As someone new to the area and to America, I felt both a sense of loneliness and excitement. As an introvert, I realized I could take control of my own boundaries and build something that could not only fulfill my own goals of establishing a design studio but also make a positive impact across creative fields in the region.

Cape Cod Collective exists to cheer each other on—not to compete. It's about creating a unified directory where every personality, style, and profession can find a place in the spotlight, if they wish.

Vision and Dreams
This project is still in its early stages, and as a one-woman show, it’s been a slow but meaningful journey. My current goals include:

Directory: Build a space where Cape Cod creatives are gathered in one directory. The user experience will evolve over time, aiming for a lightweight, Airbnb-like experience. By adding content to the website, we also aim to increase organic search visibility for members and help them show up in search results.

Stories and Content: We’ve just started our Monthly Creative Series, where we feature local creatives and their unique stories. If you’d like to be interviewed or know someone you’d like to nominate, let us know! We’re also seeking all contributions—articles, updates, tips, or anything you think could benefit our creative community. Content will be shared on our website and social media to inspire and connect others.

Casual Events: Organize casual hangouts for members to network and connect. These could be hosted in various member spaces to foster collaboration.

More dreams and goals will come as we grow, and funding will help us make them happen.

Personal Creative Outlet
For me, Cape Cod Collective is also a creative outlet. As a designer, it’s easy to fall into routines that feel more like work than passion. This project lets me keep my creativity alive, experiment with new ideas, and stay inspired. Cape Cod Collective is like my dear child—a place I will always nurture and develop.

Become a Supporter
We’re seeking support to grow the Collective and keep it thriving. While I volunteer my time and effort, funding is essential to maintain the website, develop new features, and organize events.
